Power to the People!!

Sometimes I feel powerless. Along with weary, weak, and all the other things that come along with care giving full time.

I was encouraged however when over the last few days I read this....
In the Bible Ephesians 6:10. It says "Finally, (meaning after all these previous instructions), be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. "

Yah!! It's not to be my strength! Very comforting, especially when I feel I don't have much left.

Here's a bit of insight into that power.

Ephesians 1:18-21 "I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come."

There is so much in this passage of Bible scripture but lets look at the power part of it.

1. It's available to all people. Prerequisite - Believe.
2. It's like what God exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead. That's power!
3. It's above all rule, authority, power, dominion or title now or next age!
4. It's incomparably great.

Something Pastor Glenn shared on Sunday was "God can do His greatest work in your darkest hour."

What we think is hopeless, is grounds for God to step in and display his power. What we think is impossible, He says in His Word, is possible. When we think we are weak, God can shine. Cause it sure won't be about us!

The things of God don't seem to make sense in this world. I am hoping to help shed some light on the subject for you.

Ephesians 3:20, 21 "Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen."

Blessings,

Alanne.
